Editorial Cartoons as a Teaching Tool

I could use this cartoon as a logo for my blog.

While searching for information about the artist Frederick Deligne, I found that Daryl Cagle’s Professional Cartoonists Index website offers lesson plans, handouts, teacher procedures, and student activities for using the editorial cartoons as a teaching tool in Social Sciences, Art, Journalism and English for all levels. I thought that the development of editorial cartoons as a form of political satire and social commentary could be a great assignment for the Digital Design class.
